ASTD Demon of Emotion – Abilities, How To Get, & How To Upgrade

Did you get Hantengu?

I love characters from Demon Slayers in Roblox ASTD, as the developers have a soft corner for the anime. Due to this, they always end up creating powerful units representing the universe. One such monstrous and overpowered six-star unit from the Demon Slayer manga is the Demon of Emotion or Hantengu character. The main reason why I call him a monstrous agent is due to his insane kit ability that has insane base damage numbers, two unique special abilities, and the Emotions Orb that can only be attached to the character.

To get the Demon of Emotion (Hantengu) in ASTD, you must roll for the character from the Z Banner of the Summon section. There are no other ways to get the unit apart from opening banners. So, stock up on your Diamonds and buy Summon Banners in bulks (x10) to increase your chance of getting Hantengu. Ten Z-grade Summon Banners should cost you around 700 Diamonds.

Also, before summoning, ensure the character is available to roll, as the Banners change every 20 minutes. Remember, the character has a rarity of 1%. So, keep opening packs till you find one.

What are the abilities of the Demon of Emotion(Hantengu) in ASTD?

Upon deployment, Demon of Emotion(Hantengu) can spawn five variations of himself - AngerPleasureGriefHatred, and Joy by leveling up. You can further independently upgrade these versions from the menu. These entities cause various types of damage depending on their type. I have listed every one of them below.

  • Slow Damage
  • Bleed Damage
  • Stun Damage
  • AOE Damage
  • Rupture Damage
  • Water Damage

Upon upgrading all the characters to their max level, you can use the first special ability called Upper Fusion. This skill allows all the variations of himself to fuse into an avatar that can spawn dragons. Yes, you heard it right! A literal dragon. Like his avatars, you can also spawn four types of dragon - Wind, LightningTear, and Sound by leveling up. These all deal similar types of damage like his variations but with a much larger range and SPA.

Now, for the second special ability, you need the Emotions Orb. You can obtain the Orb as a drop reward by finishing the Hunt on the Blacksmith Village Raid from the Adventure mode. After acquiring the Orb, upgrade all your dragons and then activate the Infinite Karma special ability key to create four more sets of dragons - Tree, Tear Leaf Dragon, Crazed, and Rage. You can upgrade these as well to inflict more damage and chaos. Due to these layers of abilities, I and several veterans of ASTD regard Demon of Emotion (Hantengu) as a game-changing META character for PVP and infinite game.

How to Upgrade Demon of Emotion(Hantengu) in ASTD

Like every unit in ASTD, you can max out Demon of Emotion by feeding XP. Destroy waste characters in the game and use their XP to evolve Hantengu. Currently, he maxes out at 175 Level. Utilize the money generated by your Support Characters to level Hantengu during the game.
