The Boom Jump Ability in Haikyuu Legends

Haikyuu Legends Ability Tier List (Update 5) – Roblox

Know the best abilities in Haikyuu Legends!

Apart from Style, the other most vital criterion that will determine your playstyle and strategy in Haikyuu Legends is the type of ability you choose for your character. Since these are newly introduced features, many players, especially beginner ones, won't be able to distinguish between good and bad ones due to low gameplay hours. So, to help these players out, here is the Ability Tier List ranking out all the abilities from best to worst.

All Abilities Ranked in Haikyuu Legends

The following list is divided tier-wise, starting from S and going all the way to D tier. With S-Tier abilities being the best and D the worst in the game. Read through all the points and understand why a particular ability belongs to that tier in the game.

Tier ListAbility Name
SMinus Tempo
ACurve Spike, Zero Gravity, Moonball, Boom Jump
BRedirection Jumps, Super Sprint
CSteel Block, Rolling Thunder
DTeam Spirit

S- Tier

  • Minus Tempo (Secret): The secret Minus Tempo is the ability in the game as you can easily do a steady fast set towards the spiker, allowing you to shoot the ball very quickly and in an unpredictable manner to get points very easily. There is nothing better than this, and it should be your priority if you want to dominate pro servers.

A- Tier

  • Curve Spike (Legendary): This ability allows you to take tons of points as you can easily change the direction of the ball mid-air while smashing, farming free points every few minutes during your game. While it is fantastic, it has a learning curve, which is why I have placed it in A- Tier.
  • Zero Gravity Set (Rare): The Zero Gravity set is like a toned-down version of the Minus Tempo set, where your set will automatically line up for a perfect spike. This is a game-changing ability that should be in your loadout if you cannot get the secret one.
  • Moonball (Legendary): This is a good ability for players who set your gameplay as your next bump will simply move past the enemy spikers for a free point. As usual, you need to place yourself correctly to make use of this ability.
  • Boom Jump (Rare): As the name suggests, this ability allows you to jump super high, blocking all the shots while defending. It is much simpler to use and execute, making it extremely beginner-friendly.

B- Tier

  • Redirection Jumps (Godly): This ability works very similarly to the Curve Spike. Instead of the ball moving in the direction of tilt, you adjust your jump direction to shoot at a desired height and place. This is good but not as effective as the Curve Spike.
  • Super Sprint (Common): Indicative of its name, the Super Sprint ability increases your speed for a short duration. It is somewhat helpful in blocking fast smashes and reaching balls that are out of bounds during defensive halves. But, when it comes to hitting smashes, it is not very helpful.

C- Tier

  • Steel Block (Common): I loved using this ability as your block to push it toward getting a free point. The implementation takes time, and it is very situational, which makes this ability not that useful. But, if you are playing with friends and in a coordinated environment, you can make this work.
  • Rolling Thunder (Common): This ability allows you to perform a boosted dive that covers a lot of distance in a short time. It is only somewhat helpful in public matches where your team is not complete and you need to cover spaces to defend balls.

D- Tier

  • Team Spirit (Common): A very useless ability that increases the speed of your teammates for a short duration. Though on paper, it sounds good, practically, it makes a massive difference during gameplay as each player has a different role.

How to get abilities in Haikyuu Legends

Similar to Styles, the abilities are also acquired through spinning in Haikyuu Legends. This means you have to pay either the regular spins or lucky spins to get a random ability. Yes, you read it right: the skills obtained from spinning are entirely random, and you can pick or choose a particular ability from a list. So, you have to keep rolling and spending more spin coins until you get your desired ability in the game. You can get Haikyuu Legends Spins using Robux or get some free Spins using our Haikyuu Legends codes.
