In some cases, these errors can be solved by the user and disappear in just a few seconds; in others, it's up to Roblox to come to the rescue and decipher the root of the issue. In the case of the "an error occurred and Roblox cannot continue" error, it seems to be a bit of both.

How to solve 'an error occurred and Roblox cannot continue'

When this error appears on your screen, it will likely read "An error occurred and Roblox cannot continue. Expected channel name when using -channel, use for empty value," which can easily leave players confused as to what that means. To put it simply, when this error occurs, it's likely an issue with the specific version of Roblox that you're playing on. A lot of the time, players can fix this issue by simply deleting the Roblox app from their device and then re-downloading it again after a few minutes.

If this doesn't work, you could try disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet, and then clearing your browser data/history, which will clear up all space taken up by cookies, cached images and files, and your general browsing data.
