Similar to the Nightfall Weapons, there are seven Firstlight weapons in Slayers 2: Firstlight Spear, Firstlight Katana, Firstlight Insect Katana, Firstlight Sound Cleavers, Firstlight Bladed Wagasa, Firstlight Tanto, and Firstlight War Fans. These are end-game weapons that can only be crafted after obtaining their Schematics. So, here’s a detailed guide that will tell you how to get all Firstlight Weapon Schematics in Slayers 2.
How to Get the Firstlight Spear Schematic in Slayers 2
To get the Firstlight Spear Schematic, you need to go to a hidden area underwater in the Iceveil Valley. Head straight to the location highlighted in the image below and then jump into the water.
After jumping into the water, dive down to find a statue. Behind that statue is an open area that you can fall through to get to a maze-like area. Once you are in the maze, follow the directions below to find the Firstlight Spear Schematic:
- From the drop point, go straight and take your first left.
- Keep going straight until you see a brown rock in front of you. From there, take a right.
- Now, keep going straight, and you’ll soon reach the Firstlight Spear Schematic.
The Firstlight Katana Schematic is also found in the same maze. So, while you’re there, make sure you grab that too. Read on to learn about the exact location.
How to Get the Firstlight Katana Schematic in Slayers 2
To get the Firstlight Katana Schematic, you need to go back to the maze-like area in Iceveil Valley (where you get the Firstlight Spear Schematic). Once you are in the maze, follow the directions below to find the Firstlight Katana Schematic:
- From the drop point, go straight and take your first left.
- Keep going straight and take the first left.
- Again, head straight forward and take the first right.
- Once you hit a brown rock, take a left.
- From there, head straight to find and claim the Firstlight Katana Schematic.
After obtaining the Firstlight Spear and the Firstlight Katana Schematics, also grab the Nightfall Scythe Schematic if you are interested in that weapon and don’t want to make the whole journey again.
How to Get the Firstlight Insect Katana Schematic in Slayers 2
For the Firstlight Katana Schematic, you’ll have to go to the Mistfall Harbor area and then go to the exact point on the map highlighted in the image below:
When you reach this location, you’ll find a giant tree log. Walk up on that tree log and dive into the water to find a hole at the bottom. Fall through that hole and then follow the path to find the Firstlight Insect Katana Schematic.
How to Get the Firstlight Sound Cleavers Schematic in Slayers 2
To get the Firstlight Sound Cleavers Schematic, you need to defeat Duelist Hibiki. He is found deep inside the cave where the Reaper Trainer Kuzan mini-boss is in Iceveil Valley. If you don’t know where that is, go to the location marked on the image below:
From the mini-boss’s location, follow the directions below to find Duelist Hibiki:
- Go behind the mini-boss spawn location and follow the path on the left side.
- Keep going straight until you see the path splitting into two ways. Take the left path again.
- After that, take the first left.
- Then, go right.
- Go left again, and you will see a parkour obby on your right.
- Carefully complete that obby because if you fall on the spikes, you will die and respawn at your chosen location.
- After clearing the obby, go right.
- Take the next left and then go right.
- Now, just keep going straight, and you will find Duelist Hibiki.
The fight will begin after a short dialogue. Defeat him, and he’ll give you the Firstlight Sound Cleavers Schematic.
How to Get the Firstlight Tanto Schematic in Slayers 2
Requirement: Unequip your Lantern. Must have a Shovel.
To get the Firstlight Tanto Schematic in Slayers 2, complete a questline from the Old Trapper Retsu NPC (found sitting at the base of a Torii at the main entrance of Iceveil Valley). Talk to him, and when the dialogue pops up, select Lantern on your Belt. When asked, pay him the 2,500 Wen to get the directions.
After that, head to the cave of Iceveil Valley (Reaper Trainer Kuzan mini-boss is), and you’ll see various blue mushrooms on the ground. Step on these mushrooms until you see the Mushroom Lit Lantern pop up nearby. Claim and equip the Mushroom Lit Lantern and exit the cave for a few seconds (go to a nearby campfire to restore some health).
Now, go back to the same cave, and you’ll see blue footprints on the ground. Follow those footprints, and you’ll reach a pile of snow. Use your Shovel to dig through the snow and find a treasure chest. Open the chest, and you’ll get the Firstlight Tanto Schematic, along with other handy loot.
How to Get the Firstlight War Fans Schematic in Slayers 2
Requirements: Level 100+.
To get the Firstlight War Fans Schematic, you need to complete a long questline that starts at Butterful Estate, goes through Windy Peak, and ends at Iceveil Settlement. Read on to see all the steps that you need to complete to get the Firstlight War Fans Schematic in Slayers 2:
Step 1 - Get 9 Cooked Meats
Kill Bear Cubs and Bear Mama at Bamboo Grove to get Raw Meat. Bring that meat to Lucy at Windy Peak to get Cooked Meat.
Step 2 - Get 25x Health Elixir
Go to Alchemist Meku on the docks of Mistfall Harbor and purchase 25 Health Elixirs. This will cost you 50 Demon Horns and 8,750 Wen.
Step 3 - Talk to Iceveil Guard Shiro
Go to the Iceveil Settlement area in Iceveil Valley and talk to the Iceveil Guard Shiro NPC. He’ll ask you to help supply the settlement. After completing the dialogue, go near the cart behind the NPC and place the Cooked Meat and the 25x Health Elixir into that cart to complete his quest.
Completing this quest opens the Iceveil Settlement area for you.
Step 4 - Buy the Shovel
Go to the Shop in the Iceveil Settlement area and talk to Winter Store Rep Lynx standing behind the counter. After the dialogue is complete, buy the Shovel placed on a table right next to the NPC. It will cost 1,000 Wen.
Step 5 - Talk to Shiori
After buying the Shovel, go to Butterfly Estate. Once you’re there, find and talk to Shiori (she is standing near the biggest house in the Butterfly Estate area). You have to complete at least one quest from this NPC. If you have already done that, you can move to Step 6.
Step 6 - Talk to Dockmaster Sofen
You can find the Dockmaster Sofen NPC near the shop at the docks of Mistfall Harbor (where you buy different Elixirs). If you haven’t already, complete all of the quests given by this NPC. After completing all the quests, talk to him again, and he’ll tell you about a lady in Iceveil Valley. Once the dialogue is complete, you have to go back to Iceveil Valley.
Step 7 - Talk to Old Trapper Retsu
You can find Old Trapper Retsu sitting near the main entrance of Iceveil Valley. Choose the Lantern on your waist dialogue and keep going even after you pay him to unlock the continuation of the story that Dockmaster Sofer shared. Once that plays through, head to Step 8.
Step 8 - Talk to the Winter Store Rep Lynx
Go back to the Shop in Iceveil Settlement and talk to the NPC standing behind the counter again. Go through the dialogue to read the final part of the story started by Dockmaster Sofen. This is where the NPC will give you a hint about the location of the Firstlight War Fans Schematic. Read on to learn about the exact location.
Step 9 - Dig up the Firstlight War Fans Schematic
After completing all the quests and dialogues, go to the top of the Iceveil Settlement map (location highlighted in the image below). Near the houses, you’ll see a prominent pile of snow. Dig through that pile using the Shovel you bought from the Shop to get the Firstlight War Fans Schematic.
