The newest brand collaboration to enter the Roblox metaverse comes from the high fashion empire Ralph Lauren. Through their Winter Escape experience, Ralph Lauren has made it possible for players to try on exclusive items from a fully digital and gender-neutral collection inspired by their iconic, real-life Polo Sport line originally released in the 1990s. Though the full sets from this collection do cost Robux, there are a few free items that can be unlocked by completing the in-game quests outlined below.
Raising your cheer
To unlock free items in this experience, you'll need to raise your cheer meter first. Upon entering The Winter Escape, you will be prompted with a short tutorial that explains how to do this. For a brief run-through, check out the list below:
- Make and drink hot coco
- Compete in the ice skate collecting challenge and place in the top three
- Try on clothes
- Roast marshmallows
Making hot coco
Players can make hot chocolate by locating Ralph's Coffee Truck and interacting with it. Upon doing so, you will have the opportunity to choose your mug design, whipped creme flavor, and various toppings. After you've finished building your hot cocoa tower, you can drink from your mug to receive a few short speed boosts and some cheer for your cheer bar.
Ice Skating Challenge
Every three minutes, a pop-up will appear on your screen that alerts you to the ice skating minigame's start time—to participate in this minigame, simply hop onto the ice and get skating! As you skate around the frozen lake, you'll notice floating Ralph Lauren Polo logos—collect as many of these as you can to raise your rank on the server's scoreboard. Those who place in the top three in both the first and second rounds of the ice skating competition will be awarded a hefty amount of cheer.
Trying on clothes
Located across from the large Holiday Tree are three vending booths full of various Ralph Lauren clothes and accessories—to wear these outfits outside of the Winter Escape experience, they will need to be purchased with Robux, though players can wear a handful of these clothes for free inside of the experience. To try on these free outfits and earn yourself some cheer, click the hanger icon in the upper left-hand corner to open your clothing menu. From here, you can change your in-game avatar's clothes and appearance.

Roasting marshmallows
Located near Ralph's Coffee Truck, the marshmallow roasting station lets players interact with a small minigame that challenges them to roast their marshmallows to the perfect crispness. Upon starting this minigame, a white line will move along the brown bar at the bottom of your screen—click with your mouse as soon as this white line reaches the red one. The closer your white line is to the red line, the better your marshmallow will be cooked and the more cheer you will earn.
Treasure Hunt
Once your cheer bar is full, you can go to the Tree Decoration Shop to exchange your cheer for ornaments to hang on the Holiday Tree.
To place an ornament on the tree, simply approach it and press E. After hanging the designated number of ornaments, you will be awarded a Treasure Hunt ticket.
You can find the number of Christmas ornaments you need to purchase to earn your next Treasure Hunt ticket by pressing the ornament icon to the right of your cheer bar. To unlock your first Treasure Hunt ticket, you'll only need to purchase one ornament. From then on, however, each ticket will cost three ornaments.
After receiving your Treasure Hunt ticket, you will be given a hint of where your first present is hiding. Once you've found and collected all of the presents from your treasure hunt, you will receive a free, daily avatar item that's wearable both inside and out of the experience.
These free items are updated daily, and some days offer more than one item, so be sure to check back with this experience often!

Limited items
Alongside the free Treasure Hunt items, limited items are also released throughout December 2021. Each week for the next two weeks, limited items from Ralph Lauren will be dropped inside of The Winter Escape experience. Similar to the Vans World drops, these items will only be available to purchase for a very short amount of time.
