How to level up Music skill in Roblox Welcome to Bloxburg

Just one of the many skills available for players to learn inside of the popular life simulation experience Welcome to Bloxburg, Music can be practiced in various ways. In the brief guide below, we'll be going over some of the easiest ways to raise your Music skill so that you can become the virtuoso of your dreams in just a few steps.

Raising your Music skill

Purchasing instruments

The easiest way to level up your Music skill is by practicing on various instruments. To add an instrument to your home, simply locate and click on the house icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen—this will open Build Mode. From here, select Decorate from the menu on the left and locate the Instruments tab. This will allow you to choose from various instruments including guitars, pianos, and drums.

Playing instruments

Once you've purchased an instrument, simply walk up to it and press E to begin practicing. All instruments raise the same general Music skill, there aren't specific skills for individual instruments, so you can use whichever one you'd like. As you level up, however, you will be able to play different songs on each instrument.

DJing

Before the March 2022 update, another unique way to level up your Music skill was by DJing. In order to use the DJ booth, players needed to purchase the Unlocked Stereo gamepass for 400 Robux. Now, however, due to Roblox's privacy issue with the original Roblox music library, this gamepass has been removed from Welcome to Bloxburg and the DJ booth remains unusable.

Increase your skill

Once your Music skill bar has reached 100%, your Robloxian will level up, improving your music abilities and unlocking even more songs to play! To check the progress of your skills, press the person icon in the button left-hand corner and click Skills—this will open the Skills menu.
