The 2022 Roblox Developer Conference (RDC) is here, and with it comes a brand new, completely-revamped version of the Bloxy Awards that we've all known and loved—the Roblox Innovation Awards. This new award show, set to debut on Sept. 9, 2022, aims to continue the Bloxy Awards legacy by recognizing the most influential, successful, and forward-thinking creators, developers, and experiences across the Roblox platform. Before the Innovation Awards take place, Roblox will also be hosting a Keynote livestream to introduce new features and innovations to the site. So how do you watch both of these events? How to watch the RDC Keynote and Roblox Innovation Awards

RDC Keynote Livestream

Despite the actual RDC being a private, invite-only event, there are ways for general audiences to tune into its livestreams. The first of its public livestreams, the 2022 Keynote, will take place on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at noon CT and can be watched on Roblox's official YouTube channel. During this livestream, CEO Dave Baszucki, CTO Daniel Sturman, and CPO Manuel Bronstein will be offering a few sneak peeks into Roblox's latest projects and features and the overall future of the platform. If you'd like to register as a general attendee of this keynote, you can do so on the official RDC 2022 website.

Roblox Innovation Awards

Roblox's second (and likely more popular) RDC livestream has opened up to the public is that of the Roblox Innovation Awards. This award show, set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at 8pm CT, is the first Roblox award show to ever take place on a physical stage in front of a live audience and plans to make use of that feat with promises of big winners and an even bigger after party. For those who won't be attending the in-person show, a livestream of the event will be available to watch for free on Roblox's official YouTube channel.

To keep players occupied until the Innovation Awards, six free UGC items can be earned inside the Roblox Innovation Awards Voting Hub by completing various quests and a multi-part scavenger hunt.
