Is unlocking Mystic Mine in Pet Simulator X worth it? – Roblox

Perhaps it's best to hold your horses...literally!

Another week has come and gone, which means it's time for another Pet Simulator X update! On April 15, 2023, Pet Simulator X released its Mine update, which saw the addition of three new standard pets, three new Huge pets, one new Titanic pet, one new egg, and an entirely new world—the Diamond Mine. Within this mine are three areas, one of which has players doubting its worth. To learn more about this area, the Mystic Mine, and whether or not its worth it to unlock, continue reading below.

How to unlock Mystic Mine in Pet Simulator X

To unlock Mystic Mine, you'll need to enter the general Diamond Mine first, which is located in the Shop area of Spawn World near the egg displays and to the left of the rewards chest.

As mentioned above, there are three unique areas within the Diamond Mine, Paradise Cave, Cyber Cavern, and Mystic Mine, all of which can be farmed for plethoras of Diamonds. Though it's technically free to visit the entrance of Diamond Mine, you won't be able to get much further without a hefty stack of Diamonds already in your pocket. The requirements to visit all three areas are as follows:

  • Paradise Cave = Pay 100,000 Diamonds
  • Cyber Cavern = Unlock Paradise Cave and pay 100 million Diamonds
  • Mystic Mine = Unlock Paradise Cove and Mystic Mine, have Pet Overlord rank, and delete one Huge pet from your inventory

Is Mystic Mine worth deleting a Huge pet?

In our opinion, no, deleting a Huge pet in exchange for access to Mystic Mine is NOT WORTH IT, and we would NOT recommend doing it. Huge pets are oftentimes incredibly rare, and, in turn, exceptionally strong, unique, and valuable members of your team, so getting rid of one is no small ask! It's better to just grind the previous two areas if you need some extra diamonds, rather than lose one of your furry friends.

Does the Diamond Mine have an egg?

No, despite what many players may assume, the Diamond Mine does NOT contain an egg! The only new egg added with the Mine update is the Exclusive Crystal Egg, which can be purchased from the Exclusive Shop for 400 Robux. The following pets can be hatched from the Crystal Egg:

  • Redstone Cat = 50%
  • Emerald Monkey = 35%
  • Amethyst Dragon = 13%
  • Huge Redstone Cat = 1.25%
  • Huge Amethyst Dragon = 0.7%
  • Titanic Mystic Corgi = 0.05%
