Nike and Roblox may be partnering up yet again for another collab—this time as an entire event. No official news has been confirmed by either company regarding this rumor, though the two Nike items added to the Roblox avatar shop are leading fans to believe otherwise. The Nike backpack and Nike cap are not currently available to purchase from the avatar shop, which is typically a sign that the items will be a part of a future Roblox promotion or event.

The last time that Nike and Roblox crossed paths was in March of 2019, when the companies collaborated to promote the release of Nike's Throwback Future Collection. This collab saw three exclusive avatars, each inspired by a shoe from the collection—Aurora Spark, Kroma Blitz, and Oli Zig Zag. These avatars were free to download on Roblox but were only available until April 11, 2019.

Exclusive items may come with this event. The popularity of the recent Vans World experience and the new addition to Roblox's ToS removed the ability for non-company affiliated users to create trademarked and/or copyrighted content on the platform. It wouldn't be surprising if Roblox took this opportunity and ran with it—reaching out to various brands to collaborate and expand their metaverse.

Twitter users have also discovered a possible link to a hidden, work-in-progress Nike experience along with the newly released items. This experience, currently titled Project Wellington, was created in September of 2021 and has since been set to private. The last update to the experience was made today, Nov. 17, 2021, and has added 24 anonymous badges.

Though the Project Wellington group for this experience was created by a user named Nike, there is no direct correlation to the brand itself. Users can change their Roblox usernames at any given time, so it wouldn't be surprising if this user existed before under a different name and changed it to Nike only recently. Clicking on Nike's profile and looking under creations will only show the experience thxhayden's Place, further confirming the likelihood of this name change assumption.

If any more info is leaked or confirmed regarding the validity of this event, Pro Game Guides will release a timely update article to cover it.
