What is Merit in Roblox Project Star?

Like many other games, Project Star offers players the ability to create and modify their own Skill Trees to add unique features and move sets to their characters. There are three Skill Trees accessible to players at the moment— Stand, Combat, and Character. Each Skill Tree has attributes that can be unlocked and utilized by players, but we will be looking specifically at the Character tree where players can find the Merit attribute.

Within the Character Skill Tree, there are five distinct attributes—Agility, Defense, Experienced Fighters, Merit, and Vitality. These attributes affect players differently, with some even having their own branch-off attributes, as listed below.

Additional Attributes

• Defense: Five additional levels of Durability & four additional levels of Ragdoll Resistence
• Agility: Four additional levels of Dashing
• Vitality: 10 additional levels of Regen

To help players understand what each attribute does, the game gives descriptions that can be read before unlocking, however, the description for Merit is pretty vague.

The other descriptions promise a higher critical hit chance, an increase in defense or movement speed, or a bump in health, whereas the one for Merit simply reads Increases Merit. Unfortunately, there isn't much known about Merit's purpose in the game as of now, but that will hopefully be adjusted as the game continues to develop. For now, it might be a good idea to spend your points in other categories that offer your character an immediate boost!
