When is Roblox coming to PlayStation? | Roblox hiring for PlayStation software designers

This question has been asked more than a thousand times since Roblox's debut over a decade ago, and fans have always received the same short answer: it's not. Now, however, that answer has finally changed! In March 2022, a job listing was posted on the official Roblox job board under the title Senior Software Engineer, Playstation Console, and now, in Sept. 2023, the official announcement has been released—Roblox is coming to PlayStation on October 11th, 2023!

Is Roblox on PlayStation right now?

At the time of this article's publication, Roblox can only be accessed on Xbox, iOS, Android, PC, and Meta Quest. This means that, to many players' dismay, Roblox cannot be played on Nintendo Switch or PlayStation...yet.

When can I play Roblox on PlayStation?

As Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki announced during RDC23's opening Keynote, Roblox will be coming to PS5 in October 2023 and will be cross-platform with all other Roblox-compatible devices. This is a massive step for Roblox, and hopefully, we'll see the Nintendo Switch join the Roblox family soon!
