Can you tame Basilisk in Rune Factory 5?

There are some things you have to let go of.

Basilisk is one of many bosses you can encounter in Rune Factory 5. It lives in the Kelve Lava Cave 3F and has a chance to drop many rare items, including Poison Powder, Fire Crystal Shards, and the Snake Dragon’s Scale. Taming it will not get it to produce the items you need, but you will get an amazing monster to aid you in your adventures.

Still, this begs the question: can you tame it? The answer, sadly, is no. This might be because it’s too big to fit in a barn, but it still doesn’t change the fact that Basilisk is untamable.

Fortunately, Basilisk is only one of few bosses that can’t be coerced into a friendship. Fun-sized bosses like the Nine-Tailed Fox and Cerberus can be tamed with the right items.
