How to get Licenses in Rune Factory 5

Unlock new crafting abilities.

Rune Factory 5 does things a bit differently with its crafting system. If you want to keep making better and better items, then you will need to ensure that you are getting all the Licenses. Luckily, the process of getting a License isn't hard, and you will likely find yourself acquiring all of them without a problem.

You can get every License from Eliza at the Rigbarth Outpost. You will be introduced to Eliza shortly after you start the game. She looks like a box, so it shouldn't be hard to spot her. You can redeem SEED Points to take the License exams, which are all incredibly easy.

If you don't pass the exam, you won't lose any points, and you can immediatly try the short test over again. Not every License will be available from the start of the game. To unlock them all, just play through the game and level up your skills. As you progress, the other Licenses will appear for purchase from Eliza.
