How to get more party members in Rune Factory 5

Adventures are too difficult to tackle alone.

A large part of the Rune Factory 5 experience is the combat. Each major chapter of the game even has a boss that you need to defeat. Certain items will also only be dropped by monsters. However, tackling dungeons and bosses on your own is tough. Fortunately, you can get others to join your party temporarily. Here's how.

You can have two kinds of party members with you: monsters and other residents of Rigbarth. Up to three members can be added at a time.

If you want to invite a resident to party up, their friendship needs to at least be at level three. You can raise friendship levels by speaking to them once per day and giving them gifts. Once you guys are close, speak to them, press L or R mid-dialogue, and invite them to go on an adventure. They'll say yes.

Just remember that Rigbarth residents will not party up with you if there’s a festival or another important town event going on.

You can invite any monster in your team. If they’ve already been tamed, they can be invited anytime. Simply go to your barn and ask them to go on an adventure with you.

You can also invite any untamed monster on the field for 24 hours with the capture feature. Reduce their HP, hold ZL, and fire your net!
