How to increase Friendship in Rune Factory 5

Everyone is your new best friend.

Some of the biggest parts of a farming sim game like Rune Factory 5 are the townsfolk and the connections that you make with them. Almost everyone you find in town can be befriended, and they all have their own stories and events. All you need to know is how the friendship system works.

To increase your heart level with the residents of Rigbarth, you need to speak with them each day and give them gifts. You can check your friendship level from your menu at any time to see how close you are with each character. It also seems that completing requests that villagers post will help bring you closer.

Keep in mind that only named villagers who show up in your relationship menu can be befriended. The random townsfolk and SEED members that walk around town are just random NPCs to help Rigbarth feel more lively. You should also note that all characters have heart events that will play out when you go to a marked location on your map.
