How to make Stew in Rune Factory 5

For taming, right?

While recipes will reduce the amount of rune points (RP) needed to make a dish, that does not mean you can’t make them. In Rune Factory 5, as long as you have the equipment and toss in the right ingredients, you can make any food as early as Spring of year one. Here’s how to make a Stew (level 87).

Despite its high level, Stew is not a complex dish. In fact, it only needs three basic ingredients: Flour, Potato, and at least a Medium Milk. The Stew’s level will be higher if you use a Large Milk. Cook it in a pot.

Flour can be bought from the general store and potatoes are grown on your farm. If you’ve shipped the crop and expanded the general store’s selection in Studio Palmer, Hina and her mom will sell Potatoes, too.

Milk can be farmed from the Buffamoos found in Phoros Woodlands. When tamed, they produce milk. At low friendships, they will only produce Small Milk. But at friendship level four, they’ll start producing Medium Milk.

However, pay attention to the amount of RP the dish needs. If it exceeds your current RP points, the dish will take the leftover number from your HP. And if the total RP needed exceeds both your RP and HP, you’ll get knocked out.

The higher the dish’s level, the more RP it will consume to make. You can decrease the RP requirement by raising your cooking level.
