What happens during the Spring Harvest Festival in Rune Factory 5?

It's Pink Turnip season!

The Spring Harvest Festival is one of four Harvest Festivals that is celebrated every year. It’s hosted on the 28th of Spring. During the Spring Harvest Festival, you can offer your best Spring-grown crop and have the opportunity to get Cooking Breads, SEED points, and other rewards. It’s winnable on year one, so host it. You just need to prepare.

How to win the Spring Harvest Festival

If you want to win the Spring Harvest Festival, just remember three things:

  1. Present a Spring crop. That gets it more points.
    • Spring crops include: Potatoes, Pumpkins, Strawberries, Pink Turnips (not the ordinary ones), Cucumbers, Corns, Leeks, Cabbages, Eggplants, and Tomatoes. You will know it's in-season if the seed’s description says “It grows well during the Spring.”
  2. The longer a crop needs to grow, the higher its points will be.
  3. Produce a high-level crop. On year one, it’s winnable with a level three to four seasonal vegetable.
    • To harvest high-level crops, use your sickle on a ready-to-harvest vegetable so you can gather a seed that is of a higher level that the crop you removed.

After this comes the appeal phase. And while there are correct responses that will earn you extra points, the quality of your crop is way more important.
