Should you choose Flameheart or Pendragon in Sea of Thieves Return of the Damned Adventure?

Which pirate will you save?

The Return of the Damned adventure in Sea of Thieves provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of the pirate title. Players can choose whether to side with Pendragon or Flameheart by completing various quests and deeds. But this may leave you wondering if you should choose Pendragon or Flameheart in Sea of Thieves.

Should you help Belle or The Reaper in Sea of Thieves Return of the Damned?

Ultimately, the choice is up to you, but there are some things to consider. The main things to consider when choosing between Belle and Pendragon or The Reaper and Flameheart would be gameplay and story. Helping Belle will bring back Pendragon while helping The Reaper will bring back Flameheart.

Who is Pendragon, and why should you choose him in Sea of Thieves?

If you decide to aid Belle and prevent Pendragon from being trapped in the painting, you should know about the character. Pendragon was a prince in an unknown kingdom but has since become the captain of the Blackwyche, now shipwrecked at Shipwreck Bay. The man himself is now trapped in a painting on his ship but can be freed by aiding Belle during the events of Return of the Damned.

Saving Pendragon will ultimately keep the Sea of Thieves free. This will likely affect future events that come to Sea of Thieves, but we don't know exactly how. So if you wish to see different events and activities in the future with a more good theme, side with Belle and Pendragon. You will also receive an exclusive item, Belle's Ritual Sails, by completing this adventure on Pendragon's side.

Who is Flameheart and why you should choose him in Sea of Thieves

Aiding The Reaper and bringing about the return of Captain Flameheart will have some interesting effects on the story of Sea of Thieves and its gameplay. Flameheart is one of the most feared pirates and bullies those he deems weaker. During Heart of Fire and The Herald of the Flame, Flameheart terrorized the Sea of Thieves but ultimately was defeated and sealed away. However, players now have a chance to free the feared pirate.

Saving Flameheart will likely greatly impact Sea of Thieves, as pirates seek to control the seas. Future events will be shaped by Flameheart's return and may create more evil or difficult events. The pirate captain is also a fan-favorite character, so there is a good chance Flameheart will get another shot at resurrection if you do not side with him. However, you can get an exclusive item, the Reaper's Ritual Sails, by completing this adventure on Flameheart's side.
