Will Skull and Bones get DLC – Is Skull and Bones a live service game?

Skull and Bones is an expansive title by Ubisoft that features hardcore pirate gameplay. There is naval combat, pirate and ship combat, pirate dens, crafting, numerous weapons, and much more packed into the base game. For those who can't get enough of the pirate life, you may be wondering if Skull and Bones will receive DLC.

Will Skull and Bones get post-launch content?

Terry Han, the Quest Director for Skull and Bones, confirmed that it would receive post-launch content during the July 7, 2022, Ubisoft Forward. There are plans to provide fresh new content in the months and years following Skull and Bones' release. Best of all, players can expect this content to be free, meaning that after their initial purchase, they will have more content to play.

Is Skull and Bones a live service game?

Skull and Bones is intended to be a live service game, with a continuously expanding amount of content to enjoy. Players can expect plenty to do, either solo or with a group of friends. Post-launch content will expand on what is initially available in-game and add new challenges and events.

Does Skull and Bones have world events?

Skull and Bones is, at its core, a multiplayer game and will have world events. Players can participate in massive, deadly challenges that are better tackled as a group. There will also be smaller themed events that can be soloed. Events include battling local factions, bigger corporations, smuggling cargo, and raids. There will also be dynamic events, like attacking merchant ships on trade routes.
