Is Slime Rancher 2 on the Xbox Gamepass at launch?

Slime Rancher 2 will launch sometime in 2022, and when it does, it will be on the Xbox Gamepass at launch. The game will also be available on Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

However, an exact date when the lovable slime game will release on both the Xbox Gamepass and platforms is still unknown, but we do have some details on how Slime Rancher 2 will play.

In short, if you played the first game, it seems the second game won't be that far off gameplay-wise and will feature much the same gameplay loop of previous titles.

Along with this, the game seems to have a plethora of new slimes players will be able to capture and as well a new array of gadgets to use. Players will also  continue the story of Beatrix LeBeau as she journeys to Rainbow Island, a new location that will contain tons of these new slimes and more.

On this new island, players will build a conservatory and use these gadgets to make money called newbucks by capturing these new slimes. These newbucks can then be used to buy upgrades for their vacpack, new gadgets, and to expand their conservatory.
