Can you disable Axis Invasion in Sniper Elite 5?

Add a bit more difficulty.

In Sniper Elite 5, a campaign mode called "Axis Invasion" was built with the intention of incorporating it into the game. The feature is enabled by default, and players will be asked if they'd like to turn it off upon setup. If you missed it, there is always a way to turn it on and off in the menus.

Sniper Elite 5 allows you to enable or disable Axis Invasion before playing any level. Press Campaign mode, but before selecting any missions, scroll down to Allow Axis Invasion. You can then choose a level or continue your game after switching it on or off. Be prepared for an extra challenge if you have it on.

Axis Invasion allows other players to infiltrate your game and attempt to kill you as an Axis Sniper. Having Axis Invasion on will give you more rewards after finishing the level. The player who wins Axis Invasion will receive weapons, items, skins, and additional XP. If you have it off, you can always just play the game as usual without really missing anything. This feature was seemingly inspired by the Soulsborne games.
