How to get Tech Armor in Sons of The Forest

Even without this, Bone Armor will suffice!

Tech Armor is the highest craftable armor in Sons of the Forest, but it requires a lot of materials to make. Leaf and Bone armor will be what most players use for the majority of the game, but Tech Armor takes much more damage to break even from the toughest of enemies. The biggest issue with making it is just finding enough materials to craft it, but if players are marking their areas, they should have no problem getting items to respawn. This is how to craft Tech Armor in Sons of the Forest.

Tech Mesh can be made with 3D Printers scattered around the island. These can be found in several of the areas marked with green icons but may require things like keycards or shovels to get in. The easiest to access and earliest 3D Printer is by the third green marker near the location of the Stun Baton and Rope Gun cave. Printers require Printer Resin, which can be found in crates around the island or in containers inside bunkers. Every area will refresh at some point and can be manipulated by saving and quitting in an attempt to get items to spawn.

When interacting with the 3D Printer, the printing can start even without having all the resin. The printing will begin and get stuck until more resin is deposited. Tech Mesh requires 250 Printer Resin to make and needs to combine with:

  • Wire
  • Circuit Board
  • Battery
  • Duct Tape
