Where to upgrade tools in Stardew Valley

To upgrade tools in Stardew Valley, you have to visit the blacksmith in town from 9 am to 4 pm and choose the dialogue option to do so. After that, you can then have the blacksmith upgrade the following tools with a certain amount of money and materials. As a side note, when you upgrade a tool, it will take a total of two days to complete, and during this time you will not be able to use the blacksmith.

  • Axe
  • Water Can
  • Pickaxe
  • Hoe
  • Trash Can

The starting upgrades are copper, and to upgrade your tools to copper, it will cost 2k gold and five copper bars each. You can get the copper bars by mining the ore inside the mine or other various sources like breaking geodes; something you can also do at the blacksmith.
