What is Still Wakes the Deep?

Still Wakes the Deep is an upcoming first-person survival horror game by The Chinese Room, developers of titles such as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. The game takes place on an offshore oil rig off the coast of Scotland. The player takes on the role of a worker aboard this oil rig who must fight to survive after a disaster hits the oil rig. However, the North Sea storm pales in comparison to the unknown evil that has come aboard the rig, and it is up to you to defeat this evil.

During the Xbox Partner Preview, we had our first look at the gameplay we can expect from this dark survival experience. It plays perfectly into every possible fear you can imagine, not only from usual monstrous terrors but a fear of heights, claustrophobia, and thalassophobia.
