To beat Lord Ganabelt in Tales of Arise, you will need to prepare by selecting the right abilities. You should also make alexandrite accessories to protect against his strong light attacks and ultimate attack for all of your companions.
You can make alexandrite accessories by visiting a merchant at a campsite or a metal engraver specializing in accessories–both merchants can be found inside Inns as well. Alexandrite accessories will require some form of chrysoberyl mass, which you get from large crystal nodes in various locations across Tales of Arise.
One notable location is Ulvhan Grotto. We recommend fast traveling and collecting both nodes at that location to farm Chrysoberyl Mass if you don't have any on hand.

We also recommend resting and choosing one of the various cooking recipes that boost the rare ore drop rate or the amount you can get, such as Vegetable soup and Juice.
That said, when you have the chrysoberyl mass, take it to a merchant and click craft accessories as shown above. After doing so, you will be able to make alexandrite by finding it among the list of items you can craft, as shown below.
Click alexandrite and then choose one of the variants of the ore. We recommend higher terms of at least rarity three and up as you can get decent bonuses such as even more light damage reduction or boost to wind damage.
Make four alexandrites and equip them on all four of your companions and then make sure each companion has the following loadout:

Along with the equipment items listed above, you should also make sure each companion has at least the following ability artes checked along with any healing or support buffs, and Mystic Artes not included on the list.

Once you have all of your characters fully decked out, stock up on items and camp and give yourself a boost to attack with one of the recipes, such as the Doc's Kebab recipe. Helpful tips for beating Lord Ganabelt Valkyris Boss in Tales of Arise

| Evade when you can | Some attacks are hard to read when fighting Lord Ganabelt, while others are hard to avoid. You will want to evade and watch out. If you try to attack him during certain attacks, you will lose health. We also recommend attacking and dodging out of the way to avoid any counters he may have. |
| Focus on his doubles | Eventually, after breaking his defenses, you will need to kill several doubles, focus on them to progress to the next part of the attack, and avoid getting one-shot by his ultimate attack. |
