How to change Party Leader in Tales of Arise

Here's how to change characters in Tales of Arise.

Players in Tales of Arise have the option of changing who their current party leader is, and to change party leaders in Tales of Arise, they will first need to get at least one companion.

Getting companions is easy in Tales of Arise, as you will get more companions as you progress in the game. The first companion players can get is Shionne, and they will get them at the very start of the game.

When this happens, the option to change party leaders will become unlocked, and when it does, you will be able to change party leaders by visiting the main menu hub.

At any time, the main menu hub can be accessed via the menu keys, ESC, and the menu buttons on controllers.

Once at the main menu, players can change their current party leader by clicking the key or button at the bottom of their screen that says a change party leader.

Doing so will move a flag icon up and down on the party member list, which represents the current leader of the party.

After the party leader is changed, players will be able to use them instead of the main character when exploring the game world.

However, they will still only control the main character when in combat, and changing the party leader does not affect it.
