The Last of Us Part I, a remake of the first Last of Us title, enhances the experience that was limited by the technology of 2013. The complete rebuild was shown off in a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2022, where it also received a release date of Sep. 2, 2022, for the PlayStation 5. Everything included in The Last of Us Part I's multiple editions

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, it was explained that The Last of Us Part I will have three different editions of the game. Some of the items received as part of the different editions are considered early unlocks. This means that some of this content will likely become available for free at a later date.
