If you love massively multiplayer online games, you'll be happy to know that Throne and Liberty is coming to your devices sooner than you think. This long-awaited role-playing game from NCSoft will be published by Amazon Games in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. While there is no set release date, developers plan to release the game in the first half of 2023.
If you feel this game is long in the making, you're absolutely right. Throne and Liberty was first announced in 2011 as Lineage Eternal. The name was later dropped, but the development has continued for years. There was even a closed beta in 2016, but apparently, the game was far from finished.
Now, with Amazon Games pushing the project forward, we'll finally have a chance to play the Throne and Liberty MMO globally. Developers promise rich storytelling, a great combat system, and a vast world to explore while playing with players worldwide.
Throne and Liberty is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. With so many gaming platforms, a crossplay feature is a popular topic. The good news is that Thrones and Liberty will feature crossplay between PC and consoles. Thrones and Liberty is similar to Blue Protocol, another title that Amazon Games plans to publish.
