Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Twitter account posted a recent review from Game Informer, which gave the Borderlands spinoff a 9.5/10. The team behind Wonderlands were quick to showcase this score to followers on social media.

With 47 reviews on Metacritic, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands currently sits at an 81. Only nine of the reviews posted are mixed, with the vast majority of critics giving the game a positive score. Wonderlands seems to be a faithful addition to the Borderlands franchise that retains the humor while expanding upon gameplay with more customization and class options than ever before. More scores are sure to pour in when the game officially releases, but Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is off to a solid start.
