When will the next Chums form become available in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

A worthy foe evolved!

The first DLC for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is known as Coiled Captors. It offers a replayable dungeon with a tough boss known as Chums, the elder god. He has been trapped within a seawarg's body for centuries, and the only thing to do now is put him down. That sounds a lot easier than it actually is, as Chums has multiple unique forms in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

That's right, defeating Chums only once won't be enough. Chums will evolve into a new form when defeated and will have to be slain again. In total, Chums has four unique forms, including his starting form. With each form change, a change in Chums' attacks and abilities also happens. This will help keep the fight tough and fresh with each form.

What days/times will each Chums form unlock?

For the first three weeks after Coiled Captors releases, a new form of Chums will be released. That means that if you beat one of his forms before the next is released, he will not evolve yet. He will only evolve into the next form once it has been released and the previous form has been defeated. However, you can fight the same form as much as you like until the next form is released. Below are the days when the four forms will be released.

  • First Form: 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET on April 21
  • Second Form: 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET on April 28
  • Third Form: 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET on May 5
  • Final Form: 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET on May 12

After the first three weeks of the DLC, Chums will evolve into the next form immediately after beating the previous one. In order to hear Vesper's full story, all four forms of Chums will need to be defeated.

Lastly, every time you beat Chums, that form and that version of the dungeon will be added to the Chaos Chamber pool. So, you may see Chums (or some familiar rooms) in the Chaos Chamber after fighting him.
