What are Loot Goblins?

Loot Goblins replace the Loot Tinks from Borderlands 3 and Rat Thieves in Borderlands 2. Traditionally, this enemy is a non-combatant. They will scrounge the battlefield collecting all the ill-gotten loot they can. However, when fired upon, they will beat a hasty retreat. It is up to the Fatebringer to put them down quickly. Once downed, the Loot Goblin will spew forth a fountain of cash and loot.

Loot Goblins are rare spawns and can appear anywhere and anytime in the game. Despite being a non-combatant, they will appear as one on the mini-map. Again, Fatebringers should be careful not to shoot them until they're ready to begin the chase. The Loot Goblin will try to make a quick getaway, and the last thing anyone wants is additional enemies getting in the way.
