As you may already know, Total War: Warhammer 3 releases on Feb. 17 on Steam and Game Pass. But one of the biggest questions around the Game Pass release is whether the unified Total War: Warhammer 1, 2, & 3 campaign, known as Immortal Empires, will be available on Game Pass.
At present, there's no indication the Immortal Empires campaign will be available on Game Pass. The Immortal Empires campaign requires you to have both Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer 2 installed, as well as Total War: Warhammer 3. Playing the Immortal Empires campaign on its release will be impossible with these two games unavailable on Game Pass.
As a result, to play the Immortal Empires campaign, you'll have to purchase the game on Steam. However, playing on Steam has a lot of advantages over Game Pass, apart from having to buy the game. The modding support alone is enough to entice many players on the fence.
Alternatively, you can wait for a potential announcement about the release of Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer 2 on Game Pass. The move would definitely entice more players to stick with Game Pass, but this may be a move too far for Creative Assembly. Until that point, if you're on Game Pass, you'll just have to wait and see!
