To get Birch seeds in Valheim, you will need to locate Birch Trees and chop them down with an ax. However, you will need to make at least a bronze axe, or you will not be able to chop the trees down.
You may also need to farm only Birch trees that spawn in the meadows for the seeds, as when we attempted to get seeds from Birch trees that spawn in the plains, none seem to drop.
Once you get a Bronze axe, chop a Birch tree down, and you will get several seeds that can then be planted to grow Birch trees closer to home.Â
How to grow Birch Trees in Valheim?
To plant Birch seeds and grow them, you will need to make a cultivator inside a level one workbench with five core wood and five bronze. Once made, place the cultivator in your Hotbar and right-click.
From there on, you will be able to plant Birch trees by clicking on them inside the cultivator menu and left-clicking to place them on the ground.
After you plant the Birch tree seeds, they will grow into full trees in a few days, allowing you to farm them for a steady supply of fine wood.
