It's April Fool's Day, and the game developers around the world are pranking their communities with ridiculous announcements and updates. As an industry leader, Riot Games is not far behind. To the amusement of their ever-growing Valorant community, they released an exclusive, hilarious patch note that will never see the light of day.
The patch notes, titled 33 1/3, contained some unimaginable ideas, like the 100-second smoke duration for Brimstone, Phoenix gaining the ability to flash enemies between his legs, and Cypher being replaced by a SpyCam. As for some balance changes, the developers stated that the rank of all the players will be reset to the same level to remove stress and tension.
Additionally, the post took a shot at their controversial anti-cheat system, Vanguard, by saying that the system will now automatically capture your thoughts for pre-thought cheat detection. You can read the entire, hilarious version of the patch note on the official Riot Games website.

Wide Joy Mode Announcement
While the patch notes were a laughing riot, they took the prank a step forward by announcing an exclusive, limited-time mode called Wide Joy. As the name suggests, the teaser trailer showcases a Killjoy getting bulkier and wide as the game progresses.
It is a reference to the popular meme that circulated in the Valorant community when a minor bug made KillJoy look extra-wide on the loading screen.
