All Grendel Prime Relics in Warframe and How To Get Them

Gold Gluttony makes his debut...

The infamous Grendel is the newest Warframe to get a Prime variant, and just like with any Prime, you'll need to farm relics to nab him up. Farming relics for Prime components is one of Warframe's biggest chores, but the reward is well worth the grind. So where can you farm Grendal Prime's relics? That's a good question, and fortunately, I've got the answer.

Where to farm Grendal Prime Relics in Warframe

As a Prime Warframe, you need to get the necessary relics for four all of Grindel Prime's components before you can start farming him. Here are the relics needed for each component and where you can find them:

ComponentRelicRarityBest Farm Location
Grendel Prime BlueprintLith G8 RareHepit (Void Capture)
Grendel Prime Chassis BlueprintNeo S18UncommonUkko (Void Capture)
Grendel Prime Systems BlueprintAxi G11RareApollo (Lua Disruption)
Grendel Prime Neuroptics BlueprintMeso B8CommonUkko (Void Capture)

While running these missions, note that you'll likely get relics you're not necessarily looking for. However, the reason they are the best to run for farming is because of how fast they can be completed. Use a fast Warframe that can quickly navigate each level, and you can easily finish a run within one or two minutes. Every completion rewards a relic, so this is as efficient as the grind gets.

How to Farm Grendal Prime in Warframe

Once you have your relics, it's time for the main show. To begin, head to the Navigation screen on your Orbiter. From here, you want to select Void Fissures at the top of the screen and then choose which fissure mission you want to do. You want to select fissure missions that reflect the name of the relic you want to use. So, if you're trying to get the Grendel Prime Blueprint, you want to choose a Lith Void Fissure to have a chance at it.

Completion of the mission, or a rotation in the case of an endless objective, will reward you with one of the potential rewards listed on the relic. Rinse and repeat for each of Grendel Prime's components.

How to improve your chances of getting Grendal Prime parts

Farming Primes is a tedious process because you're not guaranteed to get the pieces you want just because you do the right mission or use the right relic. Getting the components is all based on odds, but you can influence the odds in your favor if you use Void Traces. Void Traces is a currency you earn by completing missions located in the Void. They can be used to refine relics, which improves your chances of receiving one of the rarer rewards listed. You can think of them as a soft pity system of sorts.

In the case of Grendel Prime, I recommend using Void Traces on the listed Lith and Axi relics, as those components are rare rewards from the relic itself. I do not recommend using Void Traces on the remaining two components, as enhancing those relics actually reduces your chances of getting common and uncommon rewards. There's a trade-off, so you need to be careful to remain efficient with your grind.
