How to watch Warframe Devstream 167

In that a bug-themed Warframe...?

There's always a delightful sense of catharsis when Digital Extremes announces another new development stream for the world to watch. DE understand that their community wants answers, even if it isn't what we want to hear. Still, a new Devstream means new quality content, which is a new reason to be excited and new possibilities for the future of Warframe. If you're looking to watch it as we will be, we have you covered in what you need to know about it.

What is Warframe Devsream 167 covering?

Warframe's Devstream 167 will be streamed live on their Twitch channel on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET. The Devstream will be introducing content from Warframe's next major update: Citrine's Last Wish, among other miscellaneous developments within the game space.

This Devstream will also serve as a pitstop update for Warframe's next open field map update, The Duviri Paradox. The open map has been developed for a significant amount of time and was even surprisingly delayed in 2023 from last December. Exciting times are ahead, indeed.

Warframe Devstream 167 Predictions

As for what I think will be shown in Devstream 167, I think it's likely DE will share some details on the next Warframe to be added to the game. It probably won't be gameplay, but the possibility can't be ruled out. It is more likely to be a general introduction to the new frame concept, with key details, such as skills, being withheld due to active development. Is it a bug-themed Warframe based on a kabuto beetle, or is it more than meets the eye?

We'll also get to see the fabled Wisp Prime during this stream. DE is well aware of how hyped the community is on Wisp Prime, considering Wisp is one of the most popular Warframe ever. If I had to be honest, this is what I'm most excited about.

Finally, there's a strong possibility that during The Duviri Paradox portion of the stream, DE will show off new gameplay of its action, much like they did with most of their previous frame/story-heavy updates. The Duviri Paradox has a significant amount of hype around it because DE's open-field updates tend to be Warframe's strongest in filling in the game's lore and new gameplay elements.
