Warframe – Best Decrees in the Duviri Paradox

The Decree of Decrees...

I do decree there are many Decrees you can utilize during your exploration of the many twisting Spirals in the Duviri Paradox. Of these many, there are a few you should pretty much always take as they add a significant amount of power to your Drifter. These select few are the best Decrees you can get your hands on, and, as such, should be looked out for at all costs. So, without further delay, below are the best Decrees I recommend you take during your adventures in the Duviri Paradox.

The Strongest Decrees in Warframe the Duviri Paradox

Upon looking at this list, you may notice a pattern: most of the Decrees here are multiplicative. By this I mean their effects multiply in total power and magnitude for every new Decree you take with it.

1. Majestic Strike

Makes it so all of your melee attacks hit twice, effectively doubling your base damage, and any additional damage tied to your melee weapons. This Decree is insanely powerful and should always be taken.

2. Venomous Touch

Makes every third melee attack deal 300% Toxin Damage and apply a guaranteed Toxin damage over time (DoT) effect. This is an enormous damage increase, and practically free due to how melee works in the Duviri Paradox.

3. Duelist's Advantage

Makes your first shot after reloading deal 400% increased damage. You'll be using your pistol often and it reloads very quicly (if you successfully complete its minigame), so this is a very powerful Decree and should be taken when you see it.

4. Smoldering Strike

Makes you deal 210% Heal Damage with every swing. You can probably imagine how effective this is with something like Majestic Strike. Take it.

5. Hammer of Retribution

Doesn't offer any direct damage like the others, but it boasts +75% Attack Speed for five seconds upon using a Power Strike or Ground Slam. Combined with the other mentioned Decrees on this list, it is extremely powerful, massively increasing your overall DPS.

6. Nourishing Terror

Restores 100 health every time you inflict a Status Effect. Extremely strong during Drifter gameplay, because as long as you're hitting with your melee swings, you're practically invincible. While this is also pretty powerful for Warframe and, by extension, Operator sections in the Undercroft, I don't think it's really necessary for them, given how powerful Warframes and Operators are already.

7. Fearsome Bonanza

Grants a massive 100% Damage increase for every enemy affected by a Status Effect within 20m. It should always be taken if you have some of the aforementioned Status Effect Decrees. Even if you don't though, Sun and Moon apply Slash very commonly, and even one active Status Effect effectively doubles your damage. Very potent.

8. Vicious Barb

Doubles your Critical Damage. If you have enough Critical Chance on your weapons, you should absolutely be taking this every time it shows up.

9. Tactical Repositioning

Imagine for a moment you take damage while exploring Duviri. I know—crazy, right? Now, imagine you take damage, but you have this Decree that lets you restore 75% of the damage you took just by rolling. Sound great? That's because it is. Take it if you're having problems surviving.

How to Earn Intrinsics in the Duviri Paradox

Intrinsics are the primary resource you gain for completing a mission during a Spiral in the Duviri Paradox. With this resource, you can purchase permanent buffs to your Drifter and Warframe that persist through each new Spiral from Teshin's Cave.

The best way to get Intrinsics effectively is to just play through a Spiral. As mentioned, you get a few Intrinsics just for completing a mission during one. Even if you quit earlier, you get to keep the ones you earned, so you don't have to stay for the annoying missions if you don't want to. (I don't know what DE was thinking putting that herding mission in, but every time I see it, I skip out on it.)
