Fans of flower picking in World of Warcraft are in for a treat thanks to the Dragonflight expansion. Specializations have returned to professions, and now they're expanding to gathering professions. Upon reaching level 25 with any gathering skill, players can begin to specialize in their profession using Knowledge Points. But be warned that Knowledge Points are non-refundable! As such, having a little knowledge of what you're about to get into can be helpful. Let's take a look at what Herbalism can do for you.
World of Warcraft Dragonflight Herbalism Specializations
Investing in Bountiful Harvests gives players extra skill when gathering in addition to upgrading the quality of the herbs. Players can also invest in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Fungiculture, and Floriculture skills which improve Skill, Deftness, Perception, and Finesse. With all this in place, Herbalists will be well-stocked to craft the finest wares in Alchemy and Inscription. Failing that, Herbalism is always a sure-fire money maker in the Auction House.
Botany is all about picking the highest quality and quantity of herbs. Additionally, once maxed out, players can gather while mounted. This alone might make Botany the best path. Players can further specialize in either Conversance or Cultivation. Conversance improves the use of Herbalism tools and allows the cultivation of plant creatures with an increased chance of looting a Rousing element. Cultivation allows Herbalists to gather more and different kinds of seeds from nodes.
Mastering the Elements
Mastering the Elements is just that. There are different Elemental Herbs scattered throughout the Dragon Isles. Gathering from them will impart both a buff and debuff. Mastering the Elements will enhance the buff while mitigating the debuff's effects. But that's not all! Players can also extract more Rousing elements from the nodes and have greater Deftness, Finesse, and Perception while gathering from Elemental nodes.
