There are many abilities you can pick up in World of Warcraft Plunderstorm, but unless you take the right ones to combo with, you'll never score a victory. The right combos make all the difference in the Plunderstorm update, so here are the best setups that will give you an edge.
Strongest Plunderstorm skill combos in WoW 10.2.6 - Season 4
The best players in Plunderstorm are using setup-based combos to nuke down your health very quickly. After all, why would you? If you don't give your enemy a chance to heal, then they can hardly react to anything else you're doing. That is why the following combos are the ones you should be striving to obtain during the initial rush of a Plunderstorm match.
Quaking Leap + Fire Whirl
This combo is one of the most lethal you can use in Plunderstorm due to how much damage it can dish out within a few seconds. Quaking Leap works as you engage on a target, and open with it. The ability stuns all targets hit while dealing decent damage. Follow Quaking leap up immediately with Fire Whirl to chunk your enemy's health, sending them scrambling for health.
Windstorm + Fire Whirl
Windstorm functions like a slightly worse Quaking Leap for this combo, but it is still quite powerful if you aim it well. Just as before, open with Windstorm to get the stun on the target(s). Windstorm is a ranged ability that follows a line in front of you, so aim true. Once a target is hit, continue the lethal combination with Fire Whirl to go for the kill.

Fire Whirl + Rime Arrow
This combo is purely for dishing out raw damage and is considered the strongest combo for that purpose. Landing a Fire Whirl deals massive damage already, but if followed up with Rime Arrow, you can potentially kill targets faster than any other combo in Plunderstorm. This is because Rime Arrow is an ability that cannot miss, meaning it is always great to use following another offensive ability, to add more salt to your enemies' bleeding wounds.
Fade to Shadow + Windstorm
Unlike the above combos, this one is all about moving as fast as possible throughout a match and landing a strong opener. Fade to Shadow allows for the proper positioning of lethal combos and escape maneuvers when things get crazy. It also grants you access to stealth while teleporting you forward. Opening with Windstorm after a Fade to Shadow allows you to get the drop on your foes, giving you a huge advantage in Plunderstorm.
Repel + Windstorm or Quaking Leap
This combo is also more of a utility setup type than a pure damage one. Repel knocks away enemies around you, silencing them in the process. This is huge because it prevents your enemies from escaping using Fade to Shadow or any other movement-based ability. Follow Repel up with Windstorm or Quaking Leap to continue the combo. After that, hit them with anything lethal while they cannot retaliate.
If you use these combos in Plunderstorm, you'll find yourself winning far more fights than before. These combos also work well (sometimes better) while playing Duos, but rest assured that they are all very powerful and will give you an advantage over players not using them regardless. Now go out there and plunder some skulls and earn the best rewards the mode has to offer!
