Adventuring through the lands of Azeroth can be a costly endeavor. Purchasing armor and equipment, repairing said equipment, investing in mounts, and purchasing minions can all add up quickly in World of Warcraft. Dragonflight alleviates the strain a little bit with its generous vendors buying junk items and relative piles of gold from quest rewards. As gold has become easier to acquire, inflation has struck, and even more, gold is required. To offset that, players should pick up a profession in-game to make some quick gold. With a limit of two per character, which is the best for making dough?
What professions make the most gold in World of Warcraft Dragonflight
The answer has been, and will likely always be, gathering professions. Specifically, Herbalism and Mining are recommended as their reagents are used by multiple professions. They allow players to "passively" collect reagents from nodes while they play normally. Otherwise, players can even dedicate time to harvest specific resources like Draconium Ore if they see the market demanding it.
Skinning is also a solid option, but won't yield as much gold due to its much more specific usage by Leatherworkers. Otherwise, if players are looking for a crafting profession to make money, we recommend Enchanting. This is due to it being in demand and low on up-front costs. Additionally, Enchanters can disenchant items into far more valuable resources. Otherwise, unless you plan on going into a crafting profession for a specific reason, we recommend sticking with the gathering professions to keep some extra income headed your way.
