Another round of Twitch drops is coming for World of Warcraft, and players can pick up the Goblin Weather Machine toy by watching an eligible streamer. While it doesn't have the same appeal as a mount drop, there's no real reason to miss out on free items.
How to claim the Goblin Weather Machine in World of Warcraft
WoW players who want the toy will have to watch for four hours of a streamer who has drops on from February 1 at 1pm ET until February 6 at 2:59am ET. Eligible streamers will have their broadcasts clearly marked as having drops enabled, so viewers just have to double-check and make sure progress is being made for the toy.
Once the four hours have been watched, players will have to claim the drop on Twitch. From there, the toy will automatically show up in World of Warcraft, provided the player's Battle.net and Twitch accounts have been linked.
Like the Feldrake before, the Goblin Weather Machine was a cosmetic item only obtainable through the now-defunct trading card game. Players who spent a lot of money adding it to their inventory will regret that move, as it's now available for free. While it's not nearly as valuable as the Feldrake mount, the Goblin Weather Machine could have cost players over $150 to get.
How to link Battle.net and Twitch together
All anybody has to do to claim the drops is sign into their Battle.net account and click on the connection link for Twitch. Players will then sign into their Twitch account to finish the process and be eligible for the drops.
Players who have already claimed WoW Twitch drops in the past have done this step, but players who are claiming their first drops will have to do this before getting free things. Linking the two accounts together is very easy and can be done in just a few seconds.
