WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2's release date is practically here, but players like me want to know when they can jump right into the action. Here's WoW SoD Phase 2's launch time.
WoW SoD Phase 2 release time
WoW SoD comes out February 8 at 1pm PT and it'll be a worldwide release. This means both NA and EU will be on the same playing field, but it does mean the EU release will happen later in the night than it does in the Americas. Australia will get an early morning start the next day with the release schedule.
ET | February 8 - 4pm |
CT | February 8 - 3pm |
PT | February 8 - 1pm |
GMT | February 8 - 9pm |
CET | February 8 - 10pm |
EET | February 8 - 11pm |
AEDT | February 9 - 8am |
NZDT | February 9 - 10am |
When Phase 2 releases, the level cap will jump up to 40 without a server interruption, if everything goes according to plan of course. The actual patch with the content was downloaded during the weekly reset, so make sure you get on an install it before the phase launches if you don't want any extra downtime.
What's new in WoW SoD Phase 2?
Phase 2 turns Gnomeregon from a 5-man dungeon into a 10-man raid as the biggest change. This replaces the Blackfathom Deeps raid from Phase 1, but you'll still want to keep doing that on the road to 40 as it'll now give you a big XP increase.
If you're somebody who likes to try out new classes, a 50% XP buff is active from level 1 to 25 to give players ample time to catch up and start exploring the new content. On top of all that, there's new gear to collect, quests to complete, and runes to find. Make sure you get your addons updated so they include all of this.
