Picking your professions while play WoW Classic can be a little overwhelming. But no one ever said it had to be. Enchanting is one of the most rewarding and well-paying professions in the game.
Enchanting
Enchanting is the process of using magical materials to give yourself and your allies different enchantments that can make or break certain fights. Firstly, you'll need to find one of the Journeyman Enchanters who can train you. This gives you access to the Enchanting ability. Players who want to Enchant items must be at least level 5. Paladins and Wizards are the best reccomended classes for this profession.
Basic training costs 10 Copper, granting you the Apprentice level with a potential skill of 75 and access to a few starting enchantments. More enchantments can be learned from trainers, bought from vendors, or found throughout the world as the enchanter raises their skill level. In order to perform enchantments, enchanters will need a Ruined Copper Rod in their inventory.
Materials
Low-level enchants require rather large amounts of expensive components and other materials, such as Cloth, Wood, Shards, and Essence. Thankfully, these materials can be gathered while playing the game normally, either through collection and exploration while on quests or purchasing them at the Auction House, if you've got the gold. Essence can be collected through the process of Disenchanting, which is breaking down old or unused magical items.
