Are there different armors in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Link, suit up.

The Legend of Zelda series constantly adds new mechanics and features with each entry. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is doing just that, but fans hope a feature returns from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is armor sets, leaving many wondering if armor sets return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Can you get armor sets in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

We do not know if armor sets return from Breath of the Wild in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. We have seen Link wearing different armor and outfits throughout the few trailers Nintendo has released, but we do not know if it has the same system as Breath of the Wild. Link could simply acquire new clothing and armor throughout the game without these affecting stats or gameplay.

Armor sets were a great addition in Breath of the Wild. These could alter your stats, allowing you to deal more damage like the Barbarian Set. The Climbing Gear Set increased your climbing speed, while the Rubber Set reduced lightning damage. Armor sets changed up your strategies and allowed you to tackle challenges differently.

We hope armor sets return in Tears of the Kingdom, but there is no confirmation. Other things we'd like to return are the Master Sword, preferably one that doesn't run on batteries, the Hylian Shield, and Epona, the greatest horse in gaming.
