Team Cece or Team Reede Walkthrough – TotK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

Add a splash of color to Hateno Village.

One thing fans of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom noticed in early trailers was Hateno Village coated in mushrooms. Turns out, this is due to Cece, the Armor Shop owner, wanting to paint the town in avant garde fungus. She'll challenge the current mayor, Reede, to a mayoral election. To help give Cece a boost in the race, you'll need to complete Team Cece or Team Reede. Here's how to do it.

To start this quest, talk to Sophia standing outside the Hateno Village Armor Shop. She'll send Cece's fans away, but let you into the shop to greet Cece. After a short talk, you'll find out the Cece is in a bit of a tussle with the current Mayor of Hateno, Reede. She'll then challenge Reede to the mayoral election.

After talking to Cece one more time, she'll rope you into delivering mushrooms to bland Reede supporters to get them on board with her flamboyant style. Don't worry, she'll give you the eight Hylian Mushrooms that you need to give to eight residents.

Where to find Reede supporters in Hateno Village in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You can always tell Reede supporters by their moss green garbs (blech!) and their lack of a mushroom hat. To give them the mushroom, simply talk to them. The option to say Have a Hylian Mushroom should appear at the end of the conversation. Here is a list of the eight supporters I found and where I found them.

  • Leop—inside the Hateno Village Inn lobby at night.
  • Worten—standing on the Inn balcony at night.
  • Dantz—in the Hateno Pasture Stable in the morning.
  • Tokk—sitting at the fireside outside Hateno Pasture in the morning.
  • Koyin—on the Lake dock nearby Hateno Pasture in the morning.
  • Medda—working in a Hylian Tomato Field nearby the Dye Shop in the morning.
  • Uma—working in Hateno School Field, a barren field behind the Armor Shop, around midday.
  • Tamana—sweeping a stable nearby the Hateno School Field around midday. She also gave me an egg. How sweet.

When you've finished delivering the mushrooms, return to Cece, who will reward you with a rare Big Hearty Truffle.
