Zelda Totk 5 Shot Bow Location & how to get in Tears of the Kingdom

Five shots are always better than three.

When it comes to OP weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it's hard to beat a bow that shoots five arrows at once. This beauty is hidden behind one of the toughest bosses in the game, though. Grabbing a five-shot bow will definitely put any player's skills to the test, and here's where you can get one.

Where to find Bows that fire five Arrows in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

To get a bow that shoots five arrows in Tears of the Kingdom, players will need to beat the Lynel Gauntlet in the Floating Coliseum in The Depths, beneath the original Coliseum (coordinates: -0708, -1551, -0517).

This gauntlet is made up of five Lynels that the player must beat in a row: no breaks, no stops to recover. These are the five types of Lynels that the player must beat:

  • Red-Maned Lynel
  • Blue-Maned Lynel
  • White-Maned Lynel
  • Silver-Maned Lynel
  • Armored Silver-Maned Lynel

It's specifically the Armored Silver-Maned Lynel that drops the five-shot bow, so players will need to beat all five Lynels for the bow.

How to beat the Armored Silver-Maned Lynel in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

There are two basic steps to beating the Armored Silver-Maned Lynel. First, break the armor. Then, fight the Lynel as normal. The armor won't break unless Link uses a rock-breaking item, like a hammer or a Bomb Arrow.

When I fought the Armored Silver-Maned Lynel, I simply spammed Bomb Arrows. I also used a triple-shot arrow for added accuracy when shooting. The three arrows cover a wider area, and only one of them needs to hit to break through the armor.

Once the armor is away, players can fight the Lynel like they normally would. That means timing perfect dodges for flurry rushes and firing headshots so that the Lynel gets stunned.

When the Lynel is stunned, Link can mount the Lynel and get a bunch of slashes in. This is a great way to rack up damage against the beast.

Also, do not even think of stepping foot in the Floating Coliseum without cooking several meals with Sundelions. Inside The Depths, hits from the Lynel will corrupt Link's hearts, so he will need Sundelions to revive.

If the five Lynels are defeated, Link will get Majora's Mask as a reward. Among the drops from the Armored Lynel will be the a five-shot bow.
