There are 3 Races in VV Ultimatum to choose from: Quincy, Shinigami, and Hollow. Each comes with a specific set of abilities and attributes, so the best way to pick what you want to play as is to understand what each one offers and match it to your gaming style. Also, keep in mind that more than 20 Clans have been added to the mix, so you'll be able to customize your experience to the fullest.

  • Quincy - This race offers a unique weapon pool and a choice between different Spirit Weapons in character creation. Another great feature is that these weapons can be evolved, thus changing their Heavy Attack. To start your progression as a Quincy, you have to reach level 25 and then venture on the journey to complete various missions. If this interests you, check out our Quincy Progression Guide.
  • Shinigami - Another race with a unique weapon set, as well as Zanpokuta parts that can be customized. You also get access to the Soul Pager and can use all Shikai abilities in base. To progress in the game as a Soul Reaper, you have to complete Main Storyline Quests and Soul Society missions. In case you're looking for a deep dive into this race, we've got you covered with a full Shinigami Progression Guide.
  • Hollow - This race is a bit different from the other two, because to start off, you can choose between 4 different types: as a gorilla, lizard, turtle, or centipede. This drastically changes your appearance. You can also use customizable Zanpokuta parts and have specific Hollow traits that affect your stats. Another thing to keep in mind when choosing this race is that not all progression is available until you become an Arrancar. Since this race is the most challenging to play as, we made sure to write a detailed Hollow Progression Guide you can follow.

Since we mentioned Clans as an addition to each Race, you should definitely take a look at the Tier List and decide which one you want to play as. Then all you need to do is keep rerolling until you get the one that best matches your preferred playstyle.

Completing Missions in VV Ultimatum gives you an additional way of getting rewards, EXP, and shards, and to start a mission, you need Mission Tickets. Here are the best ways to farm them:

  • By completing the Main Story and Daily quests, you're rewarded with Mission Tickets
  • If you roam around and defeat monsters and NPCs, there is a chance for a Mission Ticket to drop
  • Make sure to open chests as you explore because they can also grant a Mission Ticket

Another thing to keep in mind is that Mission Rewards depend on the difficulty; the harder the mission, the better the payoff. This is why we suggest you play with friends to enhance your chances of success. In case you're stuck playing solo, you can always find players on the game's Official Discord and ask for help to farm faster.

If you're looking for the fastest ways to Level Up super fast in VV Ultimatum, you should definitely focus on Daily and Main Story Quests, faction Missions, defeating random NPCs and monsters you encounter as you explore the worlds. Make sure you don't camp in one location, because it won't be as beneficial as it is in some games. The more you roam around villages, the higher the chances of encountering obstacles where you're granted EXP.

Once you reach level 25, make sure you focus on meditating. Although this does not grant you anything right away, the more you do it, the more you'll see a drastic change in your powers and increase your race-specific abilities. This will help you complete all the quests and missions faster, Boss battles will be a breeze, and you'll be leveling up much faster than before.

When you get to level 60, go to the Human World and engage in some good ol' PvP. Apart from challenging other players, you can also participate in events and raids.

Now that you're familiar with the basics of VV Ultimatum, you're ready to take off and become a true damage beast. If you're unsure about your weapon of choice, make sure to check out our Tier List. Additionally, if you're unsure about Spirit Charms and which ones to use, we've got you covered there as well.
