What does Map Focus do in Humankind

No need to squint real hard!

As you explore the world in Humankind, you will soon learn just how large the map is. When you first begin to build and expand your empire, events will be clustered in the small area that you control. Once your empire has grown larger, it can be difficult to keep track of what is happening.

To make this easier, you can turn on Map Focus. This is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in the notification area. It will be the last option on the right and has a slider to show if it is on or off.

Map Focus causes the camera to automatically focus on an event when you open the notification. As you progress in the game and unlock new events, civics, tenets, and interactions you will get more and more notifications. This feature will cut down on the amount of time it takes to figure out where they are happening.

Notifications will be saved next to the Map Focus option which allows you to track events and view them when you have time. Reviewing these notifications before making big decisions is key when deciding upon which strategy you want to take or how to proceed with your troop movement.
