Xbox reveals gameplay for Halo Infinite campaign in new trailer

Finish the fight!

Few franchises are as synonymous with the Xbox brand as Halo, and the upcoming Halo Infinite promises to be the most ambitious title 343 Industries has made yet.

Master Chief is back in a new gameplay trailer showcasing the changes and updates coming to the campaign in Halo Infinite, including new abilities, enemies, and allies on his mission to a reunion with Cortana, the rogue AI that turned against him in Halo 5.

Microsoft has promised that this is the biggest adventure for both players and Master Chief yet. Continuing where the story left off in Halo 5, Spartan-117 resumes his search for Cortana along with a new AI companion known as The Weapon.

Halo Infinite pits Master Chief against the Banished on his mission to find answers to the questions posed in Halo 5.

The Campaign Overview trailer highlights the tools and weapons Master Chief will use on his journey through Zeta Halo. These tools include vehicle spawn points, a handy new grappling hook that allows Master Chief to zip around the environment and towards his enemies, and vehicles like the UNSC Tank and Warthog. Chief is sure to use these tools in Halo Infinite to wage war against the Banished on Zeta Halo.

Halo: Infinite debuts on December 8, 2021, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and, PC. Infinite is also available on Game Pass for no additional cost.
