10 - Frozen Peak Trials

These Frozen Peaks mountains are great in both stature and resources. They are nearly seven hundred blocks long and five hundred blocks wide, giving you enough area to comfortably build a large base with farms, villager trading halls, and more. Additionally, this large area is home to two Trial Chambers and two Ancient Cities. Each one contains unique resources that will help you survive Minecraft in style.

Not every mountain in Minecraft has to be huge. This tiny mountain has the same impact as the much larger variations on our list because of the tall Pillager Outpost on its side. It can be used to farm ominous potions or as a base if the pillagers inhabiting it are taken out first. While Java players won't have this, they'll have access to a Plains Village on the same side of the mountain.

8 - Savanna and Badlands Cliffs

Stony Peaks and Badlands cliffs are the first thing you'll see in this world. The Stony Peaks mountain range is long and riddled with caverns, giving you easy access to necessary early-game ores like coal and iron. Caves are also abundant in the neighboring Badlands biome. Java players will find mineshafts hidden beneath the Stony Peaks mountains, while Bedrock players will only have one in the Badlands and one in the Savanna to the east.

This Taiga forest comes with two mountains. The first is a Frozen Peaks Mountain on the right side of the biome and the second is a Jagged Peaks Mountain on the left side. While traveling toward the Frozen Peaks mountain, you'll find a Lush Cave near its base. It's the perfect place to gather resources and experience to take on the mountains with.

6 - Ancient Mountains

These mountains are large and lush with plenty of structures to explore. All players will find the mountain range itself with an exposed Lush Cave toward the top of one of the mountains on the left. Additionally, Java players will find six Ancient Cities scattered beneath the mountain range. In contrast, Bedrock players will have two Ancient Cities plus three villages and a Pillager Outpost.

4 - Living Among Goats

Goats make their home on this icy mountain range. Players spawn on a small patch of grass near the larger green crater of the mountain. If you want to go cave-diving for resources, visit either the ravine in the crater or the cavern on the right side of the mountain. Both have pools of water that make it easier for you to jump straight into them.

3 - Lush Dark Forest Mountains

A Dark Forest surrounds the right side of this mountain while Birch Forests surround the left. If you approach the mountain from the Dark Forest, you'll find a Lush Cave. Use bonemeal on the moss to cause it to turn the stone blocks of the mountain into even more moss. You'll quickly transform the mountain into a unique Lush mountain.

2 - Icy Pillager Mountain

This mountain is a marvelous icy wonder. It is surrounded by a large grove filled with Spruce Trees and snow, turning it into a lovely winter scene. Java players will find a Pillager Outpost on the side of the mountain. In contrast, Bedrock players will need to travel underneath it to reach an Ancient City.
